Open Water Wild Swimming
New for 2024…‘Open Water Wild Swimming’ at Oxford Wet n Wild. We will open from 25th May 2024 until 15th September 2024.
The minimum age for participants is 12 years old. 12-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult (18+) – 1 adult can supervise 1 child.
All participants must be able to swim 200 metres unaided and be confident in the water.
All participants MUST wear a high-vis swim cap and use a tow float. These can be hired or purchased in Reception or bring your own.
Participants 16 years of age may swim unaccompanied however an adult (18+) must remain on site for the duration of their stay.
For any participant under 18 years of age, an adult must sign the disclaimer on their behalf.
SWIM COURSE:
3 swim courses: 200m (Confidence course), 350m & 500m – Swim multiple loops for longer swim distances.
Fully qualified open water lifeguards on duty at all times.
You must not have any medical condition (such as heart disease, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes) which may impact your ability to safely partake in ‘wild swimming’. If you are unsure, please seek the advice of a medical professional.
Pricing
Advance on-line booking: £7.50 per participant – this option is available up to 1 hour before the session start time
Walk in Price (subject to availability on the day): £10.00 per participant
Need a longer session, book ‘2 hours’ for £10.00
