Oxford Wet n Wild operates an Aqua Park together with other water-based activities such as paddle boarding, kayaks and open water wild swimming.
The base level qualification to work as a qualified lifeguard is either the Open Water Lifeguard (OWL) or the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). These are offered by the RLSS where you can find training dates and locations: www.rlss.org.uk and we also offer the OWL course dependant on your age and experience.
Our lifeguard & safety marshal roles are ‘multi-faceted’ in nature, meaning we are looking for individuals that are willing and able to do many different tasks as part of their role. For example, from reception duties, car park attendants, helping customers with wetsuit hire, delivering safety briefings for water-based activities, as well as being a lifeguard.
We will provide all the appropriate site training and ongoing scenario training throughout the season.
Our season usually runs from mid-late May until mid-September each year.
As we are a seasonal business, we require all applicants to have good availability to work during this period.
All new hires will be offered a casual worker contract. We will offer competitive hourly rates of pay dependant on experience and age.
