Do I have to sign a Waiver before I arrive?
We recommend that you sign your Waiver before you arrive to save time when you register and beat the queue! The Waiver form link can be found on our website and is valid for 365 days.
Do I have to be able to swim?
Yes, you must be able to swim 25m without a buoyancy aid on, and be confident in the water. You also have to swim to be able to gain access to the Aqua Park.
How long is my session?
Sessions are 50 minutes long and start on the hour.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend you bring a towel, swimwear and sunscreen (which should be applied before you enter the Aqua Park).
Do I have to wear a buoyancy aid or can I bring my own?
Buoyancy aids are mandatory and only Oxford Wet n Wild buoyancy aids will be permitted on the park. Please note our largest buoyancy aid is suitable for chest size 120cm. This is the largest participant we can accomodate.
Are helmets provided?
Helmets are provided but they are not mandatory. Our recommendation is that anyone aged under 16 years of age wear a helmet. Please ask for a helmet when you register on the day.
Can I wear goggles?
Goggles are not allowed on the park, as they could injure your eyes. If you have to wear prescription goggles, then this is at your own risk.
Do I have to wear a wetsuit?
Wetsuits are optional and can be hired for £5 at time of booking, either online or on the day. We recommend you wear a wetsuit on the Aqua Park for added protection from the sun or cold weather. Also, you will slide better on the obstacles and avoid possible friction burns in hot weather.
Are wetsuits provided?
Yes, wetsuits are optional and can be hired at the time of booking or when you check in at an additional cost of £5 per person. Pre-booked wetsuits can not be refunded, so if you are not sure if you need one, wait until you arrive, we have plenty in stock and all wetsuits are fully sanitised between use.
Where can I store my possessions?
Lockers available – padlocks can be purchased at £6 on arrival or bring your own.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, but they must be kept on a lead at ALL times and any mess cleared up. Dog fouling penalties will apply.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No. The Wandering Kitchen Cafe is offering both take out and eat-in service where you can purchase hot and cold snacks and refreshments during your visit. Please contact them for further information wetnwild@thewanderingkitchen.co.uk
How long prior to the session do I need to arrive?
Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your session i.e if your session is at 1pm, we advise you to arrive by 12.15pm to check in and collect your wristband for entry to the park. Please arrive ‘ready to go’ or have a changing poncho or towel suitable to use in an outdoor space as our indoor changing facilities are currently closed.
Is there an age or height restriction?
There are different restrictions depending on your chosen activity:
Aqua Park: Minimum age is 6 and they must also be 1.2m in height. 6-8 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) on the Aqua Park – one adult to 3 children ratio.
Paddleboard: Minimum age 9.
Single Kayak: Minimum age 9.
2-person Kayak: Minimum age is 6. 6-8 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the Kayak (18+).
Open Water Wild Swimming: Minimum age 12. 12-15 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) on a 1:1 ratio.
Do adults have to go on with children?
Yes, on the Aqua Park: any participants 6-8 years old must be accompanied ON the inflatables by a responsible adult (18+). 1 adult can supervise 3 children.
2 person Kayak: any participants 6-8 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my booking?
All bookings are full, final, and non-refundable, including in the event that admission into the Aqua Park is refused or relinquished for any reason. An exception to this will be considered on medical grounds at which point the Operator reserves the right to request proof of the medical condition and reasons for non-participation from a medical professional.

Can I move my booking to another date?
All bookings are non-refundable.
If you are more than 7 days from your session date, then you can cancel your ticket(s) and receive a credit voucher for use during the rest of the season (of the same year) subject to availability.
Requests to move a booking must be made at least 48 hours prior to your session time, you can change to another date during the rest of the season (of the same year) subject to availability.
We will move your booking once only free of charge, otherwise an administration fee of £5 may be charged if further changes are requested.

Do you still open if the weather is bad?
We remain open during most weather conditions including wind and rain. Closing the park due to adverse and unsuitable weather conditions such as extreme stormy weather, high winds or lightning, will be a management decision on a given day and based on live weather conditions and not a forecast. In this situation, should Oxford Wet n Wild need to cancel a session, customers will be offered to move to a later time that day subject to availability, or receive a full refund or reschedule their booking to another date & time.
Do I need to remove all jewellery?
Yes, all jewellery must be removed before you enter the park, including ALL removable earrings. If you have recently had any piercings, you must provide your own tape and cover them.
Do you have a group discount?
We offer group discounts for groups of 10+. If your group size is 30 or more or you would like exclusive hire, then please email us at info@oxfordwetnwild.com for a quotation.
Can I take a camera, GoPro or drone on to (or fly over) the Aqua Park?
Unfortunately, we do not allow these on the inflatables for health & safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Our gift vouchers are an ideal present for any occasion. Once purchased, we will email your personalised voucher to you. Please select the Gift Voucher option when you go to book on the website.
Are there other activities on offer?
Yes, we also offer Open Water Wild Swimming, and Paddleboards, single Kayaks and 2 person Kayak’s for hire, these can be booked on our website. Oxford Wakeboard & Waterski Club also operate at Queenford Lakes Water Sports Centre and offer Water ski-ing, Wakeboarding, Ringo Rides and Banana rides. Are there changing rooms and lockers?
We have basic changing rooms available but any items are left at your own risk. Lockers available – padlocks can be purchased at £5 on arrival or bring your own.
Are there showers?
We have hot and cold outdoor showers available.
Can you go on the aqua park for longer than an hour?
Yes, a maximum of 2 consecutive hour sessions can be booked but you will be required to exit the aqua park between sessions.
Is there a car park?
Yes, we have plenty of parking space at the Aqua Park site.
What happens if I am stuck in traffic?
We cannot be held responsible for traffic delays, please plan your route carefully and check with the various travel information sources for roadworks and delays.
Do you offer raffle prizes?
Over the last 2 years, we have been inundated with requests for raffle prizes for fund raising events. In view of the growing number of requests we are now receiving, we have decided to support local fundraising events which fall in to 2 categories.
Firstly, we have chosen Cancer Research and Thames Valley Air Ambulance as the focus of our charitable donations for this coming year, these are 2 amazing organizations. If your event is to raise funds for either of these charities, please email a request for a raffle prize together with their letter confirming your event.
Secondly, we will continue to support local schools (within 15 miles) raising money for their school funds at their annual fund raising event/fete. Please email a request for a raffle prize for your event.

Do you run a loyalty program?
Yes, each time a customer makes a booking, the ‘booking customer’ will get 1 stamp on a ‘loyalty card’ when they check in for their session.
When a ‘booking customer’ has a minimum of 3 stamps on their loyalty card (and a minimum cumulative spent during the season of £150), this can be handed in and you will receive a £15 gift voucher to use towards another visit during that season.
